We recently delivered the design of an electrically actuated safety gate for a vehicle inspection station run by the Department of Transport in Brisbane. This project presented some interesting design challenges, not the least of which was being able to stop runway trucks from barrelling down the hill and across a major arterial road. The full design package included mechanical, structural and electrical engineering with RPEQ sign off and a full set of drawings, including shop detailing.
