The Radial Stacker we designed for Glencore's George Fisher Mine at Mt Isa has been successfully commissioned and is now up and running.
Invent Design has completed the detailed design of a new 50m Radial Stacker for George Fisher Mine. This stacker was designed to upgrade and replace their existing stacker. It handles Zinc and Lead Sulphide ore at 4.5mT per year with a design life of 20+ years.
This new stacker raises and lowers between 6 and 18 degrees with hydraulic cylinders and slewing is powered by 4 x hydraulic wheel motors.
Utilising best practices, the project was delivered on time and within budget. Careful planning allowed site to minimise downtime during construction and installation.
